The Thai Spa Association (TSPA) with the support of the Office of Small & Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP), Royal Thai Government is proud to be taking 15 Thai Spa Product suppliers to Hongkong for Natural Products Expo Asia at Hongkong Convention Centre, from 26th – 28th August, 2010. Business matching has also been arranged between Thai & Hongkong companies at the Novotel Century Hong Kong Hotel, on the 24th August and the group will also be visiting 9 of the islands leading spas on the 25th August.
With the strong demand for Thai product and given the continued spa industry growth across ASEAN countries, Hongkong was a natural destination to target, with Natural Products Expo Asia being a logical (and much sort after) choice for the 15 Thai companies. These companies will bring unique and innovative products to Hongkong, highlighting the creativity and potential of Thailand as the regional powerhouse from which to source product for the spa industry. With the support of the Royal Thai Government and its Creative Economy Policy, the Thai spa industry continues to thrive and offers a broad range of products for both the professional and home spa markets. The companies participating in the exhibition are supported by the Office of Small & Medium Enterprise Promotion (OSMEP) under the Capacity Building program in Thailand, which aims to provide international exposure opportunities to Thailand’s unique products. This is an example of the Thai Government’s commitment to further cement Thailand as the Spa Capital of Asia, after receiving this prestigious award at the AsiaSpa Awards 2009.
