The intimate, contemporary and sophisticated Centara Q Resort Rayong has opened in January 2016 after extensive refurbishment of the property.

Central Hospitality International (CHi) is with this resort also introducing an intimately-scaled boutique resort set on a quiet beach of Laem Mae Phim, on the eastern coast of the Gulf of Thailand. It has an innovative approach, which will be a new benchmark for Chi’s resorts, featuring 41 immaculate modern rooms with a contemporary design.  The resort provides an intimate, beachfront getaway only three hours away from city life in Bangkok, set beachfront as a picture perfect location.

With clean lines and a mix of modern white finishes along with accents of light wood, guest rooms are seamlessly complemented by the beautiful beach front.  Rooms are outfitted with all of the modern day amenities.  Total space ranges from 34 to 58 square metres providing comfortable accommodation for single travellers, couples and families.  Attention to detail can be seen from the warm lighting and architectural elements that make the white cocoon-like design feel cozy and inviting.

Reflecting the resorts name – Q – guests have the option of several eclectic dining outlets starting with Quicksand Beach Terrace that serves light bites and refreshments in a relaxed open-air setting with a choice of day beds and sun loungers.  Qube Pool Bar provides refreshments while lounging poolside.  Craving oceans views, the Quattro Rooftop Lounge offers exactly that with views across the Gulf of Thailand and cocktails and tapas.  QZeen Restaurant is a laid-back dining outlet that serves a variety of options from European to Thai.

Guests will have access to the full range of facilities expected by modern resort guests, including a beachfront swimming pool, a fitness center and full wireless connectivity throughout the property.  The resort will also contain dual-age tech-friendly ‘Kid’s Club’ facilities, and a spa, Cense by SPA Cenvaree.

The resort is also benchmarked as a perfect venue for meetings designed for small to medium groups, offering fully equipped audio-visual and connectivity facilities. With the resort’s modern décor, the function rooms are suitable for any festive or corporate event, from a small wedding reception through to a formal meeting.

Rayong is a beachside destination that can offer travellers much more than just a beach vacation. There are diverse natural attractions to be experienced from waterfalls to national parks, along with cultural attractions such as museums and exploring the town. There are also several popular and famous islands nearby, such as Koh Samet, along with other villages and beaches that dot Rayong’s coastline for exploration.  Recreational facilities and activities provided in the local area include kayaking, windsurfing, mountain biking and visits to the sea turtle farm at Koh Man Nai, and seasonal fruit tastings. The resort is situated within comfortable distance of several golf courses and also provides guests with a complimentary shuttle service to local markets.

Mr. Thirayuth Chirathivat, the CEO of Central Hospitality International (CHi), said “I believe that the Centara Q Resort provides a unique experience for every guest. The contemporary design and innovative approach to beachside living is a great complement to the Centara resort portfolio.”
