Launched at Le Méridien Bangkok.
SPA by Le Méridien launches its new unique 'Hot Lava Touch' treatment from 01 January 2013 onwards at Le Méridien Bangkok.
Heated volcanic stones and warm aromatic oils are applied to your body and stress is released using our signature massage technique. The volcanic stone is known for its ability to store high temperature and with its smooth complexion, the perfect choice for body healing. The healing is experience on deep level and recipients often leave feeling rejuvenated.
The European-inspired SPA by Le Méridien
Achieving and maintaining self-wellness in Thailand’s capital has crossed a new threshold at Le Méridien Bangkok, where the entire sixth floor is dedicated to pursuing a unique lifestyle experience. Inspired by the rich traditions of European spa, the SPA breaks away from how spa is viewed, reflecting the sophistication of today’s international traveller.
The experience begins upon Arrival where guests are greeted with the sounds of upbeat music not typically paired with spa. Unlike traditional spa spaces, laughter is encouraged and discovery is a given. SPA becomes the centre of the hotel’s wellness facilities, with spa artists applying therapeutic touches in seven circular treatment rooms, two of which are designed for couples. The circular treatment rooms represent the “global meridian” from which the brand derives its concept. The shape also provides an aura of calm conducive to meditation, which is enhanced by distinct round spa beds.
As the hotel is in the city’s energetic area, the SPA’s signature treatment comprises neck, back and shoulder touches, as well as foot touches in a unique way to pamper body and mind through the art of Asian reflexology. All treatments and therapies are based on achieving total purification, restoring natural energy and harmony between body and mind. A selection of three background music themes is for guests to choose from according to her or his style and mood.
The lifestyle floor also houses a Technogym-equipped fitness centre lined with floor-to-ceiling window panels revealing an extended city view. After a spa and workout, guests can relax with a creative snack and cool drink just outside on the pool deck at Plunge bar or in the spa’s modern chill space accompanied by the sounds of upbeat music.
“Our SPA is one more piece of Le Méridien experience that encompasses the authentic discovery we are offering our guests,” said Le Méridien Bangkok’s General Manager Ralf Stresing. “But the focal point is that the Lifestyle floor is a place to simply be and discover the good life in the heart of Bangkok.”
The Hot Lava Touch is at Baht 2,800++ for 90 minutes starting from 01 January 2013 onwards.
