Ital Auto to unveil the Ferrari F12berlinetta for the first time in Southeast Asia.
As F1 season dawns upon Singapore again, the sizzling action is not restricted only to the race circuit.
Marina Bay Sands, for one, is upping the ante by presenting its grandest ever F1 celebration this year to coincide with the Singapore Grand Prix season from 1-24 September.
It is partnering with Ital Auto, the Official Ferrari Importer in Singapore, to bring a series of adrenaline-charged activities to visitors, such as the unveiling of the highly anticipated Ferrari F12berlinetta at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands on 18 September. This marks the very first time the F12berlinetta – the most powerful road-going Ferrari ever built – is displayed in Southeast Asia.
From 5-24 September, Ital Auto will also stage an exhibition at The Shoppes, taking fans through the history of the legendary Italian automotive company and its famous cars.
Mr. Mark Juliano, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Marina Bay Sands, said, “There is no better place than Marina Bay Sands to celebrate significant international events such as the Formula 1 Grand Prix. We are committed to delivering an unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime experience for our guests all year round. This F1 season, we are pulling out all the stops to create excitement and buzz around the event for our guests and racing enthusiasts.”

Celebrity chef restaurants gear up for F1

Sky on 57, famous for its unparalleled views of the Singapore city skyline, will also offer a special set menu7 for guests as they catch live telecast of the race both inside the restaurant and on its outdoor terrace. Over this six-course dinner, guests can savor all-time favorites from Chef Justin Quek’s culinary repertoire, such as the Poached French Oysters with Spanish Ham, Wok-fried Maine lobster with Grilled M7 Wagyu beef and his signature Foie Gras Xiao Long Bao.
Guests who are looking to host a group party can opt for a private corner at Sky on 57’s beautiful outdoor terrace. The West Terrace Promotion package, priced at S$988++, includes assorted canapés, JQ’s signatures, petit fours and 1 Magnum of Veuve Clicquot, Yellow Label.
SweetSpot will also be crafting exquisite treats inspired by the Grand Prix under the creative hands of Chef Ryan Witcher, Executive Pastry Chef at Marina Bay Sands. The Formula 1 is a gold dusted almond macaroon with black sesame ganache and the Pole Position is a milk chocolate-pandan praline. The highlight is the Marina Bay Street Circuit dessert, which is a mango-hazelnut mousse cake with hazelnut daquoise and citrus-praline ganache. All these goodies will be available exclusively at the outlet located at Marina Bay Sands Hotel Tower 3 lobby, from 20-23 September.
Non-stop partying at the clubs
More partying awaits at Avalon, the super club set in the stunning crystal pavilion at Marina Bay Sands. For the first time, AVALON GO! – a dance extravaganza featuring A-list deejays that have performed at the last two Singapore Grand Prix – moves into the newly expanded club space at Avalon. The mega music event will take place over 20-22 September.
KU DÉ TA will also be taking the F1 fever to new heights this season. One of Australia’s top deejays, DJ Kenny L., will be helming the decks at the club lounge on both Friday and Saturday nights to showcase his latest beats, which have made it to the biggest music festivals internationally.
Both the KU DÉ TA restaurant and club lounge will also be streaming the race live on numerous screens so visitors can feel the same excitement from 200 meters above ground. Race weekend set menus are available from S$288++ in the Restaurant, while cover charge to the Club Lounge starts from S$100 and includes a glass of champagne.
